So much to see & Do

Only the best things make the list

Things to do

Accessed only by boat, Moso Island is surrounded by turquoise waters and an abundance of marine life.  There is so much on offer on this island and the surrounding area.

For guests, our team can organise your entire ‘The Moso Vanuatu’ experience.  Airport transfers, activities, and dining arrangements can all be requested when booking or when you get here.

FOOD, BEVERAGE AND EVERYTHING IN-BETWEEN

As outlined on the ‘Bistro‘ page, we are open for all meal and beverage needs, whether you dine with us in the bistro, on the beach, in your villa or a take a hamper on a day trip. We can also cater to romantic dining, a group retreat, a Kava night or a celebration. Of course, we have a number of dining recommendations for our mainland neighbours as well.

Day Spa

Open to guests and day-visitors, our Day Spa will help you relax even more. We use local, natural and organic products which are also available throughout the property.  Massages can be arranged in your villa or on the waterfront.

COOLING OFF

The Moso Vanuatu’s pool is a relaxing place to escape and is exclusive to in-house guests. Wake up with a morning lap, take in the sun on the lounges and loll in the cool water with a cocktail to escape the tropical heat.

Of course, being situated on the water, The Moso Vanuatu has an exquisite beach-front with white coral sand, aquamarine water and rustling coconut palms, this makes for a refreshing dip and great snorkelling only metres out from the resort itself.  The beach has sun lounges, over-water hammocks, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards which guests are welcome to access at any time.

EXPLORING

Moso Island has many private and secluded beaches, where you will feel like the only person in the world. These beaches can be easily accessed by walking the many tracks around Moso Island or by booking a boat ride.  A personal guide can be booked if required, or feel free to set your own course for adventure.

We have some of the best snorkelling in the world, you can wade in straight from the resort beach or we can arrange for one of our local guides to pick you up in a Banana boat and take you to one of the more secluded reefs to experience underwater coral and caves that are second to none.

Tours with local guides, either walking or on a boat, run for half and full days and include –

  • Snorkelling
  • Cave and Grotto tours
  • Fishing
  • Island Hopping
  • Walks to Tassirki and Sunae Villages

(Remember that you can take a packed hamper from the bistro with you so that you can enjoy a whole day)

OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST

Of course, Vanuatu’s diving is also world-renowned, and some of the best dives are just around the corner. Trips can be arranged by our staff through to the PADI Dive resort not far away.

Fishing is a huge attraction in Vanuatu and fisherman from all over come here to fish these waters. While you are more than welcome to throw a line off our beach or take a day tour with a local guide on a banana boat, we can also organise a trip with one of the local fishing charters, located in Port Havannah, to come and pick you up from the resort.

For those who wish to explore some of North Efate’s other outer islands, we can organise island-hopping day trips with one of our local guides.
